In Hawaii, he`e, or tako are considered a delicacy and often eaten as poke. This is an original, one-of-a-kind, hand-rubbed impression taken from an octopus purchased at a local Maui fish market. Printed using the direct method of gyotaku using an indigo blue printmaking ink and hand-rubbed onto washi paper. The paper measures 11 in. x 14 in. and has deckled edges. Signed in pencil, and stamped with my red chop in the lower right corner. Comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
