The reef triggerfish, also known by its Hawaiian name humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa is one of several species of triggerfish. It is the state fish of Hawaii. This “humhumu” was provided to me for gyotaku by my friends at Maui Fun Charters out of Ma’alaea Harbor.
